Hello, world

It took me two days to setup this site, and I'm feeling pretty good about it. In the meantime, I've had swimming lessons, had to respond to a P1 incident at work in off hours (right after my swimming lessons), and generally loafing around this weekend. I am VERY excited over the fact that this is now working. I enjoy hearing the keyboard clack incessantly as I type this over.

My goal for this blog (which will be spun down and reconfigured) is to be a vector of all the things I've been learning and hearing about in the past 9 months. The US is in a state of chaos: Trump has intensified US fascism in a way previous presidents only did globally. I have personally had a reckoning about my conformist behaviors, and how they have led me to an unhappy life. Additionally, through this environment, I have done and insane amount of learning, I mean a level of learning that I could have only imagined of doing as a kid, and I'm doing it voluntarily and with excitement. This blog should be a collection of those learnings, and trying to expand on the theories such that they become practical. It should seek not to be an ivory tower of knowledge but a useful reiteration of my personal understanding and how to actually use those knowledge points in the future. I'm excited!! I also hope my comrades, Ben & Devon can join me on here and feel as if it is a safe space for them to do writing.
